Landing Strip for the Milky Way
THIRD LANDING
@ Kang Contemporary, Berlin 2019
The milk was poured onto the Landing Strip and then helped to the ground. The flow of the milk produced rivulets and channels in the paper that contracted as it dried into a rhythmic, regular shape. It marked the paper, drawing itself into the surface. As if the layered paintings on the wall had been laid to the ground and taken apart, the effect dismantled and suspended.
